Very strong Utd line up, we need to be on our toes here or we could get steamrollered

Despite the fact that many on here wouldn't have a quarter of their team playing for us!

Not that I disagree with you mind you...

I'm just hoping we give them a tough workout. I would take a point but you never know what might happen.
Come on Villa.

That is possibly the strongest Man United starting 11 I have ever seen.  Bollocks.

EDIT: And that's the strongest Villa bench in a long time.

Peter Schmeichel (c)
Gary Neville
Ronny Johnsen
Jaap Stam
Denis Irwin
Ryan Giggs
David Beckham
Nicky Butt
Jesper Blomqvist
Dwight Yorke
Andy Cole

may be slightly stronger....

Maybe but they are top of the league for a reason.  They didn't go the season unbeaten though and this lot may well do.  I think their 1st 11 tonight is a very, very good one.

Oh and Jesper Blomqvist...???

I agree, he is good. In fact, all of them are good. However, if you look at the treble winners, this side is not nearly as good, in my opinion. I think the league has got a lot weaker which probably makes Man United's unbeaten start to the season look more impressive than it is.

How long is it since Rooney scored?

Didn't he score at WBA a few days ago

I was looking for that team Mal, but didn't look hard enough. Put Roy Keane in instead of Jesper though!

He did, so thankfully that monkey is off his back, otherwise you just know it would be against us.

Having said that, there is probably some home hoodoo he will kiss goodby to tonight.

When was the last time he broke a metatarsal?

Strong united side; hopefully Giggs will be showing his age.  I am not convinced about Fletcher and Carrick in the middle.

We need to try to expose O'Shay.
