Whenever we have that frequent "the FA is rubbish beyond belief" argument, which usually involves suggesting that people at the top need replacing, I always wonder how Trevor Brooking manages to not only dodge having the finger pointed at him, but get put forward as the person who will "sort it".
Surely he's been there long enough to have done something by now? Or maybe he's as useless as the rest of them and equally responsible for the consistent failure to achieve anything.
