Really don't get that line up, why pires? Why not play Jean, give him more match time?  The league cUp final guarantees an extra euro spot to the league!

J 2 Mak is injured, tight hamstring, no need to risk him. Herd must be injured, or he'd have surely started in place of Pires like everyone was saying. Ah well.

I think Jean is injured, but playing Pires is an absoloute joke.

The only streamed games will be those with a full ITV/ESPN OB crew present.

The PL is awash with money and every game has full coverage.

ITV haven't got a pot to piss in, they can't even afford to cover the Grand Slam of Darts (that's gone to Sky). The situation will improve when the amount of games reduces, but that might not matter to us if we continue to contribute to the Pires retirement fund.

Not a bad team, apart from Pires,he started the last cup game,so maybe he's a lucky charm.

I know Pires has hardly impressed but why not just give him a chance? Let's just get behind him and see what he does. There's enough in that line up to win today.

Not sure for FA Cup, you can't usually get it on the internet for PL games

It's precisely because we've "seen what he does" that everyone is decrying his place in the team. How many chances does he warrant? The way things have gone, and with our current squad, I see no justification for his presence at the club never mind in the team.

I would imagine I speak for every Villa fan when I say that I want him to ram these words down my throat and fire us in to the next round, but on the evidence so far, it's not very likely.
