tense last few mins - great to see Collins and Dunny back to somewhere like their best

Great opening from Bent and intelligent forward play throughout - looks a great addition

wonder if Randy has a few quid left for N'Zogbia he looked great in a poor team

Onwards and upwards - level with Blackpool now (never thought i'd be saying that at the end of Jan, especially after performance against  West Ham on the opening day) - is it just me but am i alone in hoping Blackpool sink like a stone and Holloway get's it shoved up his arse.

Anyway - Come on you Lions!!!!

Downing really crap.

Someone is really, really going to have to explain this one to me?

At the moment, I'm relying on the match thread. He was crap. I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the highlights.

He was very dangerous, a bit wasteful but his effort was excellent.

Two games and six points. And some interesting transfer activity by GH. A good Jan so far.

How did Makoun play? I missed most of the game, just saw our nervy last half hour.

Yep, I've been a big fan of Downing this season. But I thought he bottled a lot tonight, made the wrong runs, and gave the ball away.

I did have a crap stream though!

Most important thing = three points.

From 0-80 minutes, three points never really looked in much doubt, but we absolutely must stop this brainlessness we see with ten mins to go and something to hold on to, where we just constantly give the ball back to the opposition and let them run at us.

A better team than Wigan would have got back into that tonight. It's heart stoppingly frightening to watch, and very, very frustrating.

Having said that, we look in some ways like we're currently a mediocre team, but not needing very much more to turn us into a very good one. Maybe confidence will add to that if we prolong this run, but there were plenty of things to take heart from this evening.

They can all have played shite for all I care. 3 points is the only thing that mattered tonight, and we got them. Job done.

Wasted far too much tonight, his worst game for a long time.
I thought he was rubbish.
Thought I was gonna crap myself in the last few minutes. We looked so panicked.
6 points outta 6. Sweet.

6 points clear of the deadmen, team playing for each other. Another milestone in the journey away from hoofball. I'm pleased that I, like Randy kept my nerve and didn't allow the Blessed Martin to wreck everything

I like Downing a lot, but I thought he was poor this evening.
