I shall continue in my role of Cassandra (Apollo placed a curse on her so that no one would ever believe her predictions) and tell you that the advent of Bent will not make the slightest difference to our performance.

I'm guessing Walker, Bent and Albrighton?

yep... excited again...

i think this is randy lerners second crack at progression after he has admitted his first plan of giving the manager so much control didnt work...

the plan of reworking the scouting network, trying to bring in players like fofana and rameu (sp?), before their injuries / demands scuppered the deals, shows we are looking at the superstars of tomorrow, and along with bent and makoun to suppliment young talent like those potentiall coming in, and our own like delfouneso (who i am told, houllier loves the look of since he started knuckling down in training), i am very excited..

I love the smell of optimism in the morning.  A good week indeed, and a good performance today, regardless of the result, will cap my feeling of equanimity.

 To misquote Jeeves, quoting Browning:

"The lark is on the wing,
The snail on the thorn,
McGrath's in his heaven
and all's right with the world,
sir?"

This is the fear of course! Defeat is never as painful as when it is presaged with Hope
