Uurgh. This smells of our midfield being completely over run. Very bold / odd / wrong midfield selection. Let's hope I'm wrong

What have we got to worry about? Petrov taking the midfield by the scruff of the neck; Downing crunching the tackles...

Been given a carafe of Sao Pedro 10 year-old Port. I'm nothing about Port, but it's warming me up for the game.

Cheers for the link.

How shit is the ESPN coverage. What is with the woman doing the bit in the tunnel as the players are about to walk out.

Can I change my prediction to 13-19?  We are gonna need a hatful of goals today, but fair play you can't say Houllier isn't going for it!  Best of British luck chaps.  We have the powers of right and justice on our side.

She just interviewed Houllier. Shite questions. He concluded by saying "Good luck!" and then he walked off.

Let's wait and see how it shapes up. bent up top will force a different shape to things than we've seen for a while so assume ged thinks we will have the space to play a bit. I'm not going to be that critical of a manager fielding an overly attack minded team at home yet anyway.

4-2-3-1 formation with Petrov/Downing as the 2.

Christ, I fear a ripping...
