Hodgson is the worst Pool manager since Michael Barrymore.

Dalglish in charge till end of the season. Hopefully it will end in tears like Keegan at Newcastle.

So for the thir time this season, a club above us in the table fires their manager and we still have Inspector Clousseau?

I'd pay quite a lot of money to now see Dalglish actually do worse than Hodgson. How entertaining would that be.....

We'd almost certainly be 'treated' to a few more Downfall Parodies.

Liverpool, Villa, Hodgson and Houllier

Yesterday at work I was talking to a Liverpool fan. He preceeded to go on a 15 minute rant about Liverpool and Hodgson. Jist of the rant was:-

Poor manager, should never have got the job, poor signings, poor tactics should be a lot higher in the league. He then went on saying that Benitez had been driving the club down for the last couple of years, had made poor signings, hadn't blooded the youth players, had a crap squad that had been carried by a couple excellent players.

At the time I argued with him that Hodgson hadn't had enough time, it wasn't his team, his "big" players hadn't performed, he hadn't been able to bring his own players in and to get rid of him after such a short time would be madness and they would struggle to get anyone better in.

Later on thinking about the Villa their situation is very similar to ours. So why do I think it would be madness for them to sack Hodgson yet can't make my mind up about Houllier?
