This is very bad. In six months we've gone from being on the coat tails of Arsenal to looking over our shoulder to see what West Ham and Wolves are doing. He stays as I predicted and we now have to just make the best we can of it. Football is a funny old game innit. A win on Saturday and then at the Blues and a few potentially good signings will have us all swinging back the other way. There is no doubting we are in a right mess though and it will be interesting to see how it all sorts itself out. The management team are going to have to work very, very hard to sort this one out - buying the right players, getting rid of a very long tail of dross, and spotting those who it is worth persevering with...
