Relegation odds
« on: January 06, 2011, 10:52:30 AM »
Seems West Ham, Wolves and Wigan are the bookies favourites by a fair margin. How good are the bookies over there? Over here they usually get it right.

Depends how Wolves react to that Chelsea win, we were supposed to be recharged by drawing with them and what a lot of bollocks that turned out to be.

West Ham may get twitchy and sack Grant, Allardyce or somebody may then come in and kick their arses.

Wigan have one or two skilful players and they should get out of the mire.

Not this time. Villa are definites IMO. The bookies are suffering from the old 'too good to go down' syndrome

Definates is very harsh...that table is so tight. But Blose is obviously a massive game now, aren't they all. Not expecting much change out of both Manc clubs. Could be ugly reading the table after these 3 game. Then it's
Fulham
Blackpool
Blackburn
Bolton
Wolves
Everton
Newcastle
West Ham

Some very winnable games in there, IF we can get out fecking act together...

We're not "definites", that's ridiculous, but the fact that we're bottom three and even considering it  shows how far we've dropped.

Best odds on 'Oddschecker'

West Ham 8/11
Wigan 10/11
Wolves Evens
Albion 11/4
Blackpool 3/1
Blues 4/1
Villa 4/1
Fulham 9/2
Blackburn 9/1
Newcastle 12/1

I think Blackpool are tempting at those odds.

I've just been out to lunch with a business partner who's a Blues fan who runs a company that is a major sponsor for the Baggies, he's almost suicidal at the moment.
