This for me just about sums up the premiership, 2 chicken farmers who havent got a clue about football buy a decent club sack a decent manager put in charge a yes man and then make the most ridiculous offer to an over weight has been player. If it actually does get accepted which i doubt, their welcome to each other

This has a bit of the smell of SHA 'being interested' in signing Maradonna. A publicity stunt to keep the natives happy after the sacking of Allardyce.

In related news I've made a bid to shag Megan Fox.

I hope he signs just to distract from the Spurs-Beckham media wankathon. Good luck Sandman with your Fox bid.

I don't see why not, it's not like he would actually live in Blackburn is it? I'm sure he would get a nice country mansion in Cheshire with Manure/Citeh players for neighbours. He would probably make a lot more money there than Gremio are prepared to pay him and best of all would be able to get dental work done on the NHS!

Going down the Redknapp route there.

"We might get Damien Duff back."

Yeah, but he's contracted to Fulham so you really shouldn't be talking about him!
