In the build up to Manchester City Vs Notts County in the FA Cup Lee Hughes revealed he came up against Joleon Lescott in the summer during an unofficial kick-about that got abandoned due to a brawl involving former England international Lee Hendrie

It has been revealed the game was played at Aston Villa's training ground but the match was called off after Aaron Lescott clashed with former Villa youngster Lee Hendrie clashed.

The game featured many Birmingham born pro’s including Darius Vassell Lee Hendrie, Micah Richards, Luke Rodgers and a few others.

The game was an 11 a-side and had  a referee," revealed Hughes revealed telling The Mirror:

"Joleon marked me, but our team won. It was just between the lads from around Birmingham to get a bit of fitness up before we went back for pre-season training.

"But it got a little bit tasty. I turned around, there was a bit of scuffle and that was it - the game ended."

Bumped into him , crouch, barry and postma many moons ago up broad street. They were on the lash after we had beat wolves at their place and it was his call to take them to.......Lloyds Bar.
