Draw for me, Sunderland always seem to enjoy playing us but if they don't bring many down as its a midweek game we might squeak it but the pessimist in me has gone for the 1-1.

I'll go for a very tense 90 minutes and a 1-0 win for the Villa.

Dunne to score the winner in front of the Holte in the last minute and then run to the centre spot and whip his shirt off a la Ginola revealing a newly acquired six pack to the Villa Park faithful...

And I thought I was getting carried away with today!

1,432,351 - 0 to Villa. All the players will score, nobody will know how many as the scoreboard will have broken down with the input overload.

A really nervous, tense game. Late equaliser for Villa, 1-1 and both sides happy with a point.

Though clearly I hope we stuff them

Yep the heart says we'll build on today and get the right result. Head says we'll get a point and be glad of it.

Think this will be a tough one we really need to win it but I think it will be 1-1.

A scrappy 2-1 win to Villa. 2-0 up and coasting then concede a goal in the last 10 minutes and panic sets in, but we manage to hold out (just).

Sunderland are 6th so should be respected and we'll certainly struggle to keep a clean sheet against the pace of Bent, Wellbeck and Gyan imo. Bruce also has a very decent managerial record at VP, one defat in 7 I think.

That all said, that 3-0 win at Chelsea they had was a fluke as since then they've lost at Wolves and drawn 0-0 at Fulham.

So hopefully 3 goals at the Bridge will give us more confidence going forward. 2-1 us.

I'd rest gabby, especially if has took a knock, we should have more freedom and I am really confident of a result.

If Warnock plays 2-2

If Clark plays 2-1
