Shame Collymore didn't show that passion when he wore the shirt.

Definitely not fabio, but great to see Der Hammer there with a smirk on his face when the Villa scored.

Just watching the reply yet again and noticed Houllier indicating that the players needed to thank our away support. Nice touch after some of the abuse he's had in recent weeks.

We noticed that at the game.  Heskey was walking off and Houllier sent him and a few others down to the fans.  Nice gesture by Houllier.

I think there's been a lot of reading of the internet these last few days.

I think a lot has been said and written and it appears that the club is almost creating a siege mentality. Brad put it best in his interview about drawing a line under things. I got the impression that they are all tired of the image they are creating and that the only way out of this mess is together. There's plenty of quality and leadership in that dressing room to see us through all of this.

In response to the utter shits that criticised his lack of professionalism, Collymore said:
Quote
"I've got to be impartial on the radio? Where in the rules does it say that? I've been a Villa fan since I was 7 and my team has just equalised in injury time and I'm supposed to just stand there? No chance."

His co-commentator was practically willing a Chelsea win, so once again, to the Chelski fans, to the meeja elite, to the whingers:
Fuck 'em.

I listened to Stan's show after the game. He was completely unapologetic for his actions and was just loving it. He basically said that when he goes to grounds he's fair game. In fact he'd been taking it all game yesterday, and was also giving it loads to the Chelsea fans around him saying that they were only singing when they led 3-2. He acted like a fan, and saw no reason to have acted in any other way. Even the other co-hosts on Talksport were backing him as he was arguing with Chelsea fans.

Sat next to Doug is Clive Dutton, ex-Chief Exec of Bham City Council.  Left BCC to join Newham BC last year.  He was a St holder and lived in Moseley - I believe his family still do.

A real visionary and major loss to our City.

Could we start a petition for Stan to deck Micky Quinn?

He might get sacked but I'm sure it would be great radio and we'd love it and forever hold him in our high estimation.

Pleatt really has lost it. When we equalised he kept banging on about what a beautiful ball in from Petrov.

I'm guessing his reaction was a bit more muted this evening
