Still would prefer him and his crippling wages gone.

It was a much better performance from Dunne just hope he can keep it up for the rest of the season.

His tackle on Ramires in the box was worth the admission money alone (not that I went like)

Massive improvement from him today and a cracking tackle in the second half.

Looked ropey for their second but was pretty immaculate up until that.

Actually looks in better shape though, which can only help.
Wouldn't say it's particularly good management, he should have remained out of the team after the Wolves match and only came back when he was physically fit.

But that's water under the bridge, we need our best players firing to get us out of the mess we're currently in.

If Houllier can get Ireland & Carew back into the fold, we'll be looking stronger for 2011

He's got 2.5 more years on 60k a week. We should be getting better for that money.

what has the money got to do with it, until i hear randy say that richard dunnes wages are too high and it is crippling the club, well he can carry on putting performances in like the one today! I think the club has a problem with people never playing and recieving large wages, certainly not one of our starters and one of the 2 best centrebacks in the premier league last season!

Delighted that Richard Dunne has responded like this. On form and fit there are few better centre backs than him. He can be world class and if he keeps this form up he should be in our team for the rest of the season.

He probably should have been dropped earlier and asked to slim down but if he keeps this up, there's no use crying over spilt milk.

Looks a bit slimmer, played well and his attitude was good- gave his all to the cause and I'd be happy for him to stay if he continues to apply this level of effort- well done Richard and well done GED!

We generally are more solid with Dunne in the team, especially on the left.He is prone to the odd mistake in the big games, and i would move him on only if we get somebody in whos better.Theres nobody at the club atm whos better as the left sided central defender.
