Have watched Ljunberg in the dodgy MLS the last few years and he's absolutely shit, which just shows you how bad the scottish league is.

Probably because Pires was signed when we had no players. Whereas it's January now and we're able to sign players.

Is the correct answer

Argumentative this I know , but has Pires shown us that he is better than anyone else that we had on the bench ?

It was a gamble at a time when we couldn't sign anyone else and were short of players. It didn't work or hasn't worked yet...move on.

Ljunberg couldn't hack it at Arsenal, failed at West Ham, was poor by all accounts in the MLS. It should be obvious to anyone his legs went about 5 years ago.

He is completely and utterly shot

Celtic have just signed this guy,, he's fit for the first time in ages,, in my opinion a much much better bet than pires !!!!

Think you should ask hammers fans whether they'd want Ljungberg back at their club.

Apparently Ljungberg signed for West Ham with a fractured hip.It wasn't until he to the USA they found it.

I would rather not waste the money on Ljungberg's wages and get another younger more exciting player in.

I'm sure Pires would be player of the season in Scotland. Just because someone signs for Celtic doesn't mean they can cut it in the Cjhampionship never mind the Prem.

He'll struggle to keep Paddy McCourt out of the team:
