Hi Rog   Sorry not to have replied about my hat and thank you for the offer to help find it.   The last time I had it was in the Holte Suite when I met TimVilla and his Dad.   I know I had it then because Tim's dad was just about to move from Marlow to our part of the world in Grasse and I said I take my hat off to you and doffed my lucky hat in what I thought was a very gallic gesture.

My big concern is that it is not widely known but that great mane of jet black hair I have is a syrup of fig and really I am as bald as Baldy Ireland.  I suffer from Creeping Alopaecia which makes all your hair fall out.   It is very contagious so I hope nobody is actually wearing my hat unless it is a Bluenose or Stephen Ireland.

Claret socks.
Seconded.  We always seem to be shite when we have them and I was well pissed off when the new kit was announced.

I think it's because we're sh*t and we know we are. Hope the parking has improved at Watford.

After being single for ages, I got together with my current on 24/9 and we've been shit ever since.

Should I dump her just in case?

Nothing so prosaic Leeg.   It's because I lost my lucky hat.   My younger son took a number of our old shirts to give to street boys in Cuba.   In return they gave him a Fidel Castro cap which he in turn gave to me.   The first day I wore it was the day I got the text telling me those wonderful words "O'Leary gone"   It was rarely off my my head during the whole heady period of Ellis toddling off, Randy coming in, Villa on the march.   The day I lost it was the day I got the text "O'Neill gone".

If I can only find it everything will be alright.

Get Looking and dont stop till its found.........................

I had grown a beard by the time of West Brom.

I shaved it off just before the Sperms game. Sorry.

I'm going to have a muffin and Earl Grey before the Sunderland game. Knock the balti pie on the head. Something needs to change. And there's never a queue.

Other reasons for our current temporary demise?

I'll go for the shirt sponsor change from acorns to FxPro.

It looks a little too like ExPro for comfort. Another vote for the claret socks. And I think we should always have light blue collars.

Now that's something that can only be solved on the Conundrum thread.
