We know that some of you look at these threads so pass the message on to those that don't. We the supporters don't care if you have a beef with the manager or you don't like the training methods or you wish to be somewhere else. You are living our dream, to be paid huge incomes to play football for the team we love, Villa is our passion and when we see you guys just going through the motions seemingly without any desire to represent the shirt really pisses us off. This is the same squad, less one, that took it up to the top teams in the premiership last year so there is no excuse for the dismal displays we've been watching over the last few months. Next time you run onto the Villa Park pitch have a look around the ground, every single Villa supporter wishes he was you, you are our players. The very least we expect is a total committment to the club and it's supporters.
Do the players realise that it takes me 3 years to earn what they get paid for one week?  Do they realise that I can no longer afford to 'go down the Villa' with my son?
Having a bad day at work is one thing, not putting the effort in because they don't like the manager is another thing.
They don't play for the manager they play for us. US the supporters who chant their name sing songs about them and give so much just to watch them.
I and everyone on this forum and those that turn up every week will be here when you have gone.  Some players will be remembered as heroes some will be forgotten others will be scorned for years to come.
What will you be? Or don't you care?

They'll probably be reading this thread and laughing at us for being sad... or at least having it read to them.

Like they're going to give a flying fuck.

You reckon John Carew is going to be sitting there in his gigantic house, worrying about the fact he hasn't earned a penny of his 60k a week for at least three months now?

Will he fuck.

John is a man of God isn't he? I'm sure he has a bit of compassion. And I'm equally sure deej would agree. 8)

The players can go and f*ck themselves. Paid so much, whilst fans spend a fortune to watch them and they couldnt give a shit. F*ck football.

And we the fans allow this to continue, really think i'm done with my money in this game..

Perhaps a couple of dozen of our more outspoken supporters shoud visit the training ground and deliver the message personally.

Yes, perhaps Big Sam could install some of that legendary fight in us. Just like he did at Newcastle.

It beggars belief that highly paid professional sportsman could put in
a performance like yesterday which was to a man poor in the extreme-

I can understand and forgive mistakes (I've made enough in my lifetime)
but surely the players have some responsibility for apparently lacking in
effort -

A couple of weeks ago I watched the reserves match v Baggies at Bodymoor
Heath when Mssr Carew & Pires 'played' for 60 minutes - the effort exerted
especially by JC hardly noticeable whilst our younger employees were busting
a gut to win the game -low and behold both featured in the next Premier match!

Let's be honest with ourselves, its a job pure and simple for these people -
yes there are exceptions to the rule but the Ian Taylors of this world are few and
far between-

Maybe we should be thankful that several current players have come through
the ranks and possibly have more respect for their employer than some of the
senior professional journey men -

I would just like to say to the players that some of us are on a very low income and that we scrimp and save to watch our beloved Villa while you the players who earn or should i say obtain by deception couldn't care less about your performances it's about time you looked long and hard in the mirror and give yourself a wake up call do it for us the fans who pay your wages because one thing we fans have in common that you players dont we love  Aston Villa.
