Redknapp and Pires
« on: December 27, 2010, 02:09:58 PM »
Something always seems to happen when wide boy Harry is in town. I wonder what he said to upset Pires?

I spent  most the game hoping that some of snow melting and falling off the Trinity roof would drop straight on his ugly head.

He did appear to tell Pires to "F*ck *ff". Not that the upstanding loveable wideboy would say anything like that. A man of such high moral standards ha ha.

Really have never understood in the slightest the anti Rednapp hysteria on here.  Don't know whether he is shady or not, but he is a damn fine manager.

Love the way Pires stood his ground and looked as if he was going to go face-to-face with 'arry but the oul' fella cowered back to the dugout.

What was more alarming was Pires speaking to the French press about how annoyed he was to be playing football on Boxing   day and he was jealous of people sunning themselves on beaches. Oh how my heart goes out to the poor multi millionaire footballer.

Just the kind of player we need at the Villa when our backs are against the wall.

Redknapp has the voodoo over us and I think he's a top manager who just speaks his mind. So what if he's a bit of a cock at times. His teram outplayed us with ten men for an hour so we have bigger things to worry about than Dartagnan eyeballing him and thinking we have some kind of moral victory. Pires would be at White Hart Lane (or any other London club) tomorrow if they wanted him.

It wasn’t just the Pires incident; I sit behind the dug outs and as usual when ‘arry comes to town there were some hostilities between him and some of our fans at various periods throughout the game.
It started when some snow/ice fell off the top of the stand which almost hit him, he turned round thinking it had been thrown at him and he started mouthing off towards a section of the crowd.
This sparked some off our fans behind the dugouts, he eventually did a ‘screw loose’ gesture near the end of the game when a couple of blokes a few rows behind me were shouting towards him about his team using their elbows in challenges (there was another incident as well as Defoe).

Redknapp is a brilliant manager, I remember people on here saying they would rather have Oneil, I'd take Harry tomorrow.

Pires actually pissed me off with this, it was the last few minutes and we were pressing, with him more concerned with Harry.

He's an annoying saggy faced twat, but I'd love him to come and manage us.
