7-1 with their first XI. 4-1 with their 2nd XI.

I can't see anything but misery in this or the next game.
The season starts with the home game against Sunderland.

Oh we are getting a caning in this one, make no mistake. We'll also get twatted by Chelsea, and probably come away with a hard earned point against Sunderland.
We seriously need to fill at least two spots in our back line. Namely Warnock, and an ever more annoying Collins.
We need some quality in CM.
We need a striker who can put the ball in the net and make things happen.
Failing all that, a miracle or two would do nicely.

dont think we'l get the tonking that people are predicting, but we might well lose by the odd goal, afer playing some decent football but no real threat in front of goal as usual

After last night, any remaining optimism I had about Villa has gone. Can't see anything but heavy defeats in the next 2 games. Right now I'd settle for a point.

I only hope tbey come at us (which they will), meaning we can try and hit them on the break and not have to worry about camping around their box, trying to break them down. Which we've got no chance of doing.
I see nothing but misery from this match.

My first away game this... Must be the only one looking forward to it. Villa win 0-1 Downing.

I am going VIP to this as the guest of a player. Not looking forward to the game at all, think we will get murdered.

Play fairly well and we can keep it to a 3-0 loss, play badly and it's at least 5-0 to them.
I'll be generous to us and say we'll only lose 3-0.

Put it this way, I'm making tevez captain in my fantasy team. heskey: he's key for this one. Would play petrov, NRC and delph if they look fit enough. Would drop Collins if we had an alternative. WTF has happened to mon's 3 defensive purchases of last season?

The result will depend upon which Citeh team turns up.
The fact that they were utter cack in their last home game rather suggests that we'll get the full force of the rebound.
We'll lose and we'll lose heavily. Can't believe that I'm parting with good money to witness it.
