Thanks and a Merry Christmas
« on: December 23, 2010, 10:17:31 PM »
To Randy Lerner and his family without whom none of the past few years would have been possible.

To General K, for his brave attempts to offer some form of communication between the club and the clubs fans. Long may he continue, one way or the other.

To Pelty for being there when 'others' are not

To Gerrard Houllier for being brave enough to take us on when we were left high and dry, and for his efforts so far in such dire circumstances. May it all work out well.

To those young players who stepped into the breach and did such a great job, in many instances putting the more tried and tested 'star' names to shame.

To Dave Woodhall, without whom this site would not be possible and to all his little helpers who keep the show on the road.

To Aston Villa for being the greatest club in the World long may they blossom.

To the  Messiah whose birth this celebration is all supposed to be about, you certainly started something over 2000 years ago.

To each and everyone of you for making this site such fun, may you all get what you deserve if not all you want, especially 6 points from the last 2 games in December .

Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?

All the very best for Christmas (or equivalent) and the new year to all who read this. I've made it back to Northamptonshire, despite the weather, and with a ticket for the Man. City game, so I'm quite content- hope you are too!

Yes, have a fantastic time everyone. Off down to the in-laws in Branscombe, Devon today

Fingers crossed for a win on Boxing Day which could really get things going, what with all our injured players coming back too...
