Its the Mirror, what do you think?

Is it me or is Nursey really sticking the knife in at the moment? The c***.

Although he did say mon would leave just before he walked out and it seems strange ash has moved back down south-if he isn't going to sign a new deal then the longer he stays the less his transfer value would be - similar to Barry and milner - i think he will go in janaury but only at the right price which I would expect to be around £15m.

If Ash wants out, then flog him. I don't want any players holding our club to ransom. Fuck 'em off.

I think he wants to go, he's playing for a move.

I'd sell him this January if someone offered £20m for him.

I prefer Albrighon & Downing on the wings & if we sign a good striker I think we'd be a better team.

The thing is Ash was a great left winger for us. Goals, assists and generally very good performances. The main issue for me is that since has has moved more central, the team has lost the main benefits of Ashley Young, there have been flashes but the Ash of two seasons ago is gone.

The fact he is running his contract down shows that he is edging towards the door, we need to make sure it is on terms acceptable to the club and if that means selling in Jan then so be it. IMO out wide we are in decent shape and I just think we would be stronger as a team if the player in the second/withdrawn striker role was more of a goal threat.

I hope it is just like the Barry saga, because we improved after he went.

I think Albrighton and Downing are top wingers, Ash can go but he won't have the freedom he has here, playing as a non-scoring striker.

If he wants out let him go for a decent price.  My only concern would be cover for Albrighton & Downing, particularly the former who might find a first full season tough going towards the end.  Possibly that's where the link with Bentley has come from. For those who would know better, can Bannan play out wide?

Doesn't his body language recently suggest he wants out too. Please just not to Tottenham!

Sandman do you really think ash will sign a new contract and stay? I don't think for one second that he will do, whoever reports it!I say nothing surprises me anymore in football but I would be absolutely astonished if Ashley young was to sign a new contract!

The fact that he would probably go to a top 5 club suggests we may be able to do a decent part exchange deal and maybe get one or two decent players as part of any deal.

I think there is very little chance that he will do that but I think there is an equally if not even smaller chance we will flog him in January even though I wouldn't be that upset if we did .

In the summer however he will leave, for Spurs or Liverpool probably.
