I heard a rumour today (could be complete bollocks however) that he may of late be having an issue on the booze front. Please delete this post if it could get the site in trouble. But this could explain his dip in form.

He was fantastic last season. Hopefully it's moreso the fact hes been carrying a knee injury lately.

Some centre halves played much better when they were pissed..

But perhaps that only happens if they are true Gods..

His form at the moment is pretty poor but there were at least two fantastic interventions by Dunne against SHA on Wednesday night that demonstrated to me that he's still got it.

It's just whatever 'it' is is covered in marzipan and cake frosting at the moment.

I'm sure that he'd be man of the match week in week out if the prize were a pack of jaffa cakes.

The difference between last year and this year is crazy, He was one of our better players last year but in the space of 3 months he's turned into a useless lard arse!

Get rid as soon as I think, maybe he felt he had a point to prove after last season but now doesn't give a toss

How have Dunne, Collins and Warnock turned from inspired signings last season to championship defenders this? It's an unbelievable difference, and Collins defending for Zigics goal was the individual worst piece of defending i've seen since Ridgewell played for us. And the sad thing is, Davies and Beye are actually even worse. Shorey was also poor and so was Knight. Mons only decent defensive signing in 4 years were Young and Cuellar, and he wouldn't play Young. Lescott is reported to be unhappy, I would start the rebuild with him at the right price. He can play centre and left back.

He's always played with a bit more weight than other players but this season he looks two yards short of pace and looks exhausted far too early in the game, either time is catching up with him or he's doing something in between training sessions that he wasn't last year.

He was motivated and hungry with a point to prove to Man City when he joined us.  He has become complacent, lost hunger, and let himself get out of shape.

He can't possibly still be hungry. Maybe it's comfort eating.

I don't get it.

This site is always pining for a return to the good old days. We get an overweight centre half and all anyone does is bloody moan about it. No satisfying some people.

He was motivated and hungry

I think he's still hungry, judging by the size of the fat shit.

Let's hope he can turn it around against Liverpool on monday.

I've seen barges turn faster than him.

Pedant alert.
If you are referring to the leisure craft seen on the wonderful and historically interesting canal system in the midlands, they are called narrowboats not barges !

I think Dunney needs his own song to cheer him up.

How about a variation on the Kaiser Chiefs, with "I predict a diet"
