Take the individual errors away, look at the performance on its on as a sign of how far we've come.

We kept the ball so well, played it from the back, didn't lump it until the death.

Gerard's slowly working his tactics. Once he gets a centre forward, centre mid and centre half in, we'll be back up in the mix again.

If they draw Arsenal in the semis, it won't have meant much in the grand scheme of things. They were due one, lets just regroup and stay positive.

WE lumped it up the pitch throughout.  Same players as usual..... Dunne and Collins.

I agree.. staying positive is key. The football we played tonight was excellent at times. Yes okay it wasn't hugely incisive but the scum just play to stop the opposition playing. Under MON, we would never have kept the ball like tonight. Some might say under MON we would have won but we'll never know. The fact is, I am happy under Ged so far. I think he has the right ethos that, given the backing will allow us to go further. Completely gutted about losing to that shower, but on the whole and taking in to account the injuries we have, we have to see the positives.

Did we balls!  We played some nice football and some good counter attacks.

I liked the movement of Bannan, Hogg and Clark and Ashley enjoys playing with Gabby ahead of him, Ireland just needs a good performance or a goal and his confidence will hopefully go through the roof.

Luke Young and Warnock are crap passers of the ball.

Dunne is awful at the the moment - he's overweight and should be training hard to get back to fitness.

Ash is not giving what we all look for from him, an edge around the box.

WE had loads of possession, but look clueless in the final third and low in confidence.

We certainly didn't lump it and as I said in the match thread Bannan can be our 'Iniesta'. However we need to start winning games.

We generally don't lump it out of defence now, but a special mention to Warnock, whose lump up the field straight to a Bloose player led to the winning goal.

I don't know what the final stats for the whole game were, but on possession alone we mullered them. I bet it must have been 60 - 40. Going forward we look good. Really good. But! And it's a big but, you'll never win anything if you can't defend. Don't know what has happened to Dunne and Collins, but they were awful tonight. On the positive side our football going forward looks great. With a bit of time and some new additions up front and at the back then we'll be going places! I know losing to them is never good, but you can tell from their reaction at the final whistle, they know they've got away with murder. Let them have their 5 minutes of joy. Remember form is temporary, class is permanent. And they will forever be in our shadow!

Didn't deserve to lose but didn't look like scoring

We need to bring back the orange dot. It worked well previously.

We can take positives out of the game tonight the way we kept the ball played it around, we are heading in the right direction under GH just need our injured players back and two or three players brought in then we will be ok.
