Birmingham Mail, Late Edition:
"Blues in open-top bus street celebrations"
By Colin Twattum, Birmingham City FC legend and Chief Correspondent
Birmingham City Council have granted Birmingham City FC, the club that share's the City's name, The People's Club, The club that all true Brummies support, a well deserved open-top bus hire, with a celebratory route through all of Chemsley Wood (Da Hood) after their victorious victory against The Vile.
Them Vilers never stood a chance in the game, or after it, as the Soooper Blues ripped into their defence for a tremendous victory that will be celebrated for years to come at Job Centres everywhere in this great City of ours, The city that bears the city's name.
After the open-top bus parade, there will be a chance for the players to meet the leader of the Council, at a proper posh civic reception, with sandwiches and crusts cut-off and other 'posh nosh' as I believe they call it, well deserved for the players indeed as they bear the city's name and will go down in the historic history of our historical club.
All hail the Soooper Blues, and look forward to the celebrations that will be going off everywhere from now on, with special commemorative mugs planned to fill with cuppa soup for those long winters days ahead after signing on has taken the wind out of you, rejoicing in our victory that surely must be the best one of the lot.
There will also be a Souvenir 48 page Mail special with all the photos of flares and stuff for you to keep, with me, Colin Twattum writing most of the stuff that's in it.
KRO and SOTV, yours truley, Colin.
