FA Cup Third Round Draw
« on: November 28, 2010, 09:48:47 AM »
The draw for the third round of the FA Cup is live on ITV at 6:00 today.  What's the chances of us drawing one of the Heaths (Newton or Small) or maybe yet another cup game against Blackeye Rovers?  A nice easy home game against one of the minnows would do for me to kick start the second half of our season.

One for the statisticians.  1 in 64?

Who do I want? As always: (1) a home draw; (b) a team we should beat.

1 in 63 actually as we can't draw ourselves.

I don't care about it this season i don't think we have the squad to compete in the league and the cup.

Next year will be the one :)

Any lower league team at home.

Preferably non-league.

We might stand a chance then.

Had a fairly decent trot of it last year.

So either of the Manchester clubs or Chelsea away it is this year.

Who cares? We are hardly likely to win it - we are after all, Aston Villa  ;)

Barnsley away.

I've been to Barnsley on boxing day before (not with the Villa) - its like going to Siberia, only colder.

FC United at home would be nice.
