It's the yellow lion on the light blue background that's the worst part for me. It's never sat right with me and looks like something a 15 year old designed on his bedroom PC.
It's the poorest thing Lerner has done since taking over, in my opinion.

Oh, for those carefree days of youthful optimism...

I'm not massively keen on our badge either but I don't see what is so special about the Man City one. I also don't there is a chance in hell the current one is changing while Randy is in charge.

Most of the badge doesn't really bother me except for the 'prepared' font - that bugs the shit out of me, and has from the very beginning.

If, perhaps when, we go down we should ditch our shit crest to draw a line under this madness. Revert to the classic '70s round badge and pretend the last five years didn't happen.

I'll drink to that.

I haven't got my glasses on.  Thought this thread was about boob (Chest) enlargements with appropriate (or inappropriate) images.

Oh well time to pour another glass of wine.

So if I told you it was set in a font called Chelsea Studio, that probably wouldn't help the mood?

Thanks ! It doesn't help, but I'm not surprised. Maybe next season it'll change to 'Wimbledon Hovel' font :)

I'm convinced that as Villa fans it is likely that each persons favourite Villa badge is the earliest that they remember.

In my case it was the circular one of the 70s/80s.

If there's no chance of going back to the he classic badge of my youth - the shaped shield of the '60's with "Prepared" written underneath on a scroll, I'd go for the circular badge as well.

The circular badge is THE definitive Aston Villa crest, forever and immovably associated with the clubs golden age, I don't have a Villa tattoo but this is the one I keep meaning to get - straight over the heart.

It is also the badge on the kit worn by those champions of 86/87.
