It's the yellow lion on the light blue background that's the worst part for me. It's never sat right with me and looks like something a 15 year old designed on his bedroom PC.It's the poorest thing Lerner has done since taking over, in my opinion.

Most of the badge doesn't really bother me except for the 'prepared' font - that bugs the shit out of me, and has from the very beginning.
So if I told you it was set in a font called Chelsea Studio, that probably wouldn't help the mood?
I'm convinced that as Villa fans it is likely that each persons favourite Villa badge is the earliest that they remember.In my case it was the circular one of the 70s/80s.
The circular badge is THE definitive Aston Villa crest, forever and immovably associated with the clubs golden age, I don't have a Villa tattoo but this is the one I keep meaning to get - straight over the heart.
