Keep Ireland unless he desperately wants to go. The problem I see is we sell Ireland and then Young leaves in the summer so suddenly we have little guile in midfield then.

Nige has been one of our better players when fit this season so keep him providing the wages aren't extortionate.  Give Ireland a proper chance.

Osbourne - waste of space
Salifou - why is he in our club in the first place?

Summer:
Davies - he will want 1st team action and we won't be able to give him
Sidwell - left his footballing abilities at Reading.  I bet his old man plays better than him now
Carew - earning too much, contributing too little
Heskey - a good servant but we need GOALS

Add Friedel, Petrov, a centre half and maybe even Luke Young to that list. Will probably be the summer before a proper re org can happen. Massive job ahead from Houllier but hopefully Clark, Albrighton, Bannan, Delfouneso, Lichaj, Delph can step up to some degree anyway. Hard to expect they will all make it mind.

I don't want anyone out in particularly, although I'd be happy with them all going if better replacements are brought in.

Friedel is out of contract in the summer, so he could be on his way.

Friedel has been very steady since he signed. We do need to look at replacing him soon. I don't think Guzan is up to the job.
