No-one has come up with a decent Ashley Young song yet....

One, two, three, four!

Get up, (get on up)
Get up, (get on up)
Stay on your feet, (get on up), you're a whinge machine, (get on up)

etc.

Very funny, very appropriate, had me laughing out loud.

Gonna sound really ignorant now and rely on somebody actually knowing the song i'm on about but its a ska band, either the specials or bad manners i believe, the one that i can never make out the words to but dance like a div to it anyway, something that sounds like "lippo fatty oh lippo fatty fatty reggae!" (You have my permission to cringe).

Anyway....Barry Bannan oh Barry Bannan, BARRY BANNAN der der der der der, der. (repeat)

And someone mentioned a Collins song earlier in the thread, best ive heard so far is to the go compare ads tune...
James Colliiiiiiiins
James Colliiiiiiins
Hes a taff, dont you laff, James Colliiiiiiins
He comes from Wales, hes hard as naaaaails
And we thank Randy that he signed big James Colliiiiiiiiins!!!!! JAMES COLLINS !!!!! (albeit hes been sh*t lately)

I've always found it amazing that the most popular chants at football are rarely from credible songs although some were popular.
To name a few Karma chameleon, Go west, day dream believer, that muppets song and I'm sure there's a few obvious ones I've missed.

I always thought this would work as a song for Ash and I remember someone posting this as an idea ages ago:

Something like:

Who's the winger on the left who scores for you and me?
A-S-H!
L-E-Y!
Y-O-U-N-G!
Ashley Young! (Ashley Young!)
Ashley Young! (Ashley Young!)

The atmosphere at Villa Park this season has been awful. We're in desperate need of some player songs.

The modified 'Just Can't Get Enough'
Macarena Bannan,
Marc will tear you apart again

Are three quality songs that have been going away from home, shame we're yet to hear them down b6.
