Everytime I think back to that season the first thing that springs to mind is Fergie dancing on the OT pitch after Bruce's winner against Sheffield Wednesday in something like the 123rd minute.  That's when I knew it wouldn't be us.

I don't think Deano's Mullet has ever fully recovered from this season.

I went to all but one game that season (would you believe the one I missed was Sehurst Park and the goal of the season). A few of my mates did them all.

I had a long standing dislike of Man Utd,  before it was fashionable, so to lose the league to them was particularly galling. So imagine my delight when ten mancs, one City and nine United were in the apartment next to mine for a fortnight in Tenerify.

Gobby bastards.

Remember it like yesterday. We drew at home to Coventry 0-0 and the Manure game kicked off at the same time. I was back on the M1 before they equalised and got back into London about the same time that Manure scored the winner. Bastards.

The best football i've ever seen from a Villa team ever. 1995-96's side might have been a bit more solid and less inconsistent but BFR's side was terrific despite the gradual decline post-Tranmere in 1994.

Some great moments, just a pity we couldn,t hang on at the end.
At least we can say we saw the 1st example of Fergie Time.
I remember going to watch the Blackburn game at VP , on a screen the size of  what you,d now find off the shelf at Comet.
Bad night, strange to see Sid playing for them , I think he had a stormer as well.
