I surely hope so! Would be great if we could get a Withe and a Shaw to complement him.

It's great to read all the different threads about our youngsters.  The end of today's match obviously did not produce the victory we deserved and needed but could well be the day that Houllier (and the fans) decide that its worth risking our youth players rather a little bit more.

The goal was very good and he's done well this season.

However, I hold him responsible for not winning the game today as that was a ridiculous free kick to give away which lead to their goal, Duff was near the touchline and had his back to Albrighton so why on earth did he feel he had to push Duff and give him the excuse to go down and get that free kick?!

It was just inexperience. He was trying to get close enough to stop him turning but Duff just slowed up and allowed him to go into him. He'll learn.

I hope all the youngsters are going to be allowed to make mistakes without any fear, if this season is going to be a transitional one I would rather it's one which means Bannan, Clark, Albrighton, Delfouneso and Lichaj get a lot of game time rather than playing the likes of Beye, Sidwell and even Carew.

Already the impending departure of Ashley young has been lessened by the fact that albrighton will replace him and may even turn out to be better than him.

We have some great young players coming through and it's good he has just signed a new deal.

The more i see of Albrighton the more i like him he just get's better and better the free kick he gave away for the equalizer was just inexperience he would be down giving that foul away but he will learn from it.

I hope GH will build the team to allow us to be competitive for a decade by signing hot young properties with experience ie 23 years old quality rather than 29 years old.

Which is fine, but you still need some players with experience as well.

A team of 23 year olds isn't going to get anywhere without a few older players as well.

No he is not the new Morley. Tony was an out and out winger Marc has  more to his game. There is a bit of Milner in him and a bit of Tony but he is  more all round than both of them. Let's hope he keeps progressing.

Why is it we produce/buy wingers and then turn them into midfield players?  Strikers like Heskey and Carew need supply from the wings.  Just think back a couple of seasons with Young and Milner wide and Gabby and Carew in the middle.  We were scoring goals.  Now they all play in the middle of the park and there is no width  -  and no goals.
