Bannan To Albrighton...

A magnificent moment.

Here's hoping we can build a top, top Villa side around this crop of youngsters - what a dream it would be.

It was'nt only that pass that impressed me today.Always looking for the short pass, and more importantly the return.Looks a very good footballer.Heard a lot of good things about him, and a lot of negative comments as well.

Would definately play him on wens, although he could be a difficult player to find a place for because of his size.I hope players like him succeed tbh.

I was quite impressed with his creativity and passing "touch".  He is a keeper.  Now if only Young could learn how to finish a play.  It's almost as if Young "chokes".

On a slightly side note, was impressed with ireland for the 5 mins he was on the pitch.  I counted at least three incisive passes which put us in great positions in the last few minutes.

I agree.  As much as there is to be frustrated at by that result, there's plenty to be positive about too.  Ireland looked sharp when he came on.

Banans vision was so good that I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he can look two weeks into the future. The triumvirate of youngsters in the midfield today were all excellent.

  He is a keeper.

Don't you think he's a bit 'too' small?

Bannan was possibly MOTM today. I'm not sure if GH will give want to three starts in one week at this stage, though.

Perhaps playing with others who like to pass and move (Barry, Fonz, Clark, Marc as well as Downing) instead of "hump it long" will help bring the best out of Ireland.

Been watching a hell of a lot of Bannan to Albrighton to Delfoensou for the past three years in the stiffs.

Would definitely start him against Blackpool.

Yep and hopefully he can repeat Seamus Coleman's feat today in scoring against the team he was on-loan last season.
