Bannan instead of Ireland?  Mental.

I'm surprised Bannan is in instead on Ireland, but he did well last week when he came on. As I say we desperately need to win.

Look, no talking about Ireland unless you were born or have lived there all your life.

Midfield looks a bit lightweight to me with four attackers and only one defensive. I'd have gone with Ireland or Hogg instead of Bannan.

Looks horribly inexperienced to me, hope this isn't going to go pear shaped. I can see Murphy and Gera running rings round us if we're not careful...

Suprised no Ireland, but excited by the line up. Not in the best circumstances but I'm happy we've got three exciting and unpredictable young players from the off.

Just shows how much Gerard didn't want to lose last week though - willing to go for the three today.

I'd have picked Clark instead of Albrighton.

Ireland would provide even less steel than Bannan.

I don't think anyone can accuse GHou of being negative today though...

Very positive attacking line up, I wouldn't be surprised if ash played more deep central role with Bannon behind Delfouneso.

But definitely not negative, let's just he hasn't gone from one extreme to another.

But spurs played this formation against inter allbe a more experienced side.

rather bannan than sidwell , but i think ireland will only get his form by having a decent run in the team.

i really dont see where the goals will come from , not gerards fault though, we have been crying out for a natural goalscorer for many years.
