Didn't realise the game was on Tuesday.....that will be 4 games in 11 days for him, hope he doesn't burn out by January in true Villa style.

Just under 20 mins gone, Bannan is looking quality. Loads of quick passes and neat touches.

This kid really could be the quality we have long been needing in midfield, right? In 2-3 years time everyone will be saying Milner who?

And it is absolutely laughable that there were reports that MON was planning on dumping Bannan following his spell at Blackpool.

I know people are sick of hearing about Oneil, but I can't help but think 'what if' We'd of had someone else in charge the past few years.

Because all Martin did was sell our young lads and replace them with overpaid oldies.

Bannan had a pretty good chance to score in the second half, with his head!

Think Bannan was probably just shocked that he was gonna win a header in there box. Had a good all round debut though .........

Aye he was very good tonight.

I was telling my mate at work to watch Bannan.  There was one ball played in behind the full back that was pretty much identical to the great pass to Downing.  He just seems to have that knack that Scotland especially are missing.

Brill!

Not unless the pat on the back from Craig Levein at the end snapped his twig-like frame.
