Let's hope he doesn't get his head turned by all those World class players at big clubs such as...err...such as...Kevin Kyle? David Goodwillie?

Wasn't it Kyle who missed the open goal for Sunderland against us when we won 1-0. Allback scored, without which we could have been relegated?

Goodwillie is a decent midfielder/striker who plays for Dundee United. He can't be worse than Kenny Miller.

Talk about damning with faint praise.

With their dearth of talent I'm surprised he's not been called-up sooner.

With their dearth of talent, I'm surprised The Sandman hasn't been called up sooner !

Yes, in the Holte Pub. You only have to be in the same stand as his Mum to know that she's at the game. She has a right foghorn on her.

I hear there is a chance that young Ciarán may receive his international clearance in time to play for Ireland on Wendnesday.

To be fair David Goodwillie is a very good up and coming player and wouldn't be too surprised to see him going to a lower Premiership team like Steven Fletcher has... Though I rate Goodwillie more than I did him at that age.

He does however, have a bit of a reputation for causing trouble at night spots.

I'd go but the fuckers are holding it at Pittodrie. No idea why as even accounting for the lower interest they could still hold it at Tynecastle or Easter Road and be closer to the majority of fans.

Yes Barry Bannan should get an opportunity, as something has to change with the Scottish national team, and looking to youth must be the best option.

The fact that the Scots have to rely on the likes of 40-year-old David Weir either means that their is no fresh talent in Scotland or the management are not being adventurous enough.

It must be the latter.

Let's not forget that he could get the chance to play against his idols, Xavi and Iniesta, at some later date. That would be as good a learning curve as he could possibly get.

When's he taking his driving test again?

The nation was hooked last week.

He would have passed but he forgot to take the child seat to put in the instructors car.

I would love to be his driving instructor. I'd tell him it's obligatory to scream in terror while performing an emergency stop
