over half of that team were sat on the bench last season.

You mean L Young, NRC, Sidwell and Heskey?

Young is the best Full back at the club, NRC has been our best player this season and Heskey (at present) is far better than Carew! Sidwell you may have a point but we have little options following injuries, suspension and the performance of our last leader!

At least Ged is aware of this and I'm sure we will def do some decent business in January.

^I hope that is untrue.  A total lack of respect if he does a Tait.  Proper small time

What did Gardner say?

Something about 'knowing how they play' insinuating we're a bit predictable.

Ah thanks, he's certainly got more vocal since he joined the draggers.
He also was quoted along the lines of Birmingham can become the City's leading club.
No further comment needed.
Come on Villa..................

4-5-1 with Clark or Warnock in midfield?

It's different I'll give Hotlips that.

“Villa are looking over their shoulders now, and so they should be,” Gardner said. “There is the potential to become the city’s top team. I’d like Villa to be underdogs and Blues to be above them. Time will tell won’t it?”

“Now we’re moving up the table and doing well every week. Last season we finished really high and we’re looking to improve on that. If we did finish above them this year because then we could give them six or seven years of stick all in one year.”
