It won't be Small Heath or Ipswich. They're nailed on to be drawn together.

That's the second time you've said that. I don't understand.

Yeah come on Dave spill the beans.

I think Dave means they will be drawn together because Blues have had some lucky draws so far i.e Rochdale, MK Dons and Brentford at home. With Ipswich being the lowest ranked team the Blues might luck out again and get them in the next round.

The draws fixed like they fix the scottish cup draws so celtic and rangers avoid each other till the final. Hes on the secret football league committee that does it.

I think Dave mentioned on another thread somewhere that a few of the betting companies had suspended betting on the brum v ipswich fixture, suggesting that the draw is rigged.

Not sure why they'd choose that tie though as it's hardly a glamour fixture.

On that basis, based on what would be best for the Carling Cup (high gates and interest amongst the general public) I'd guess the draw will be as follows:

Arsenal v Man U
Baggies v Villa
Ipswich v Birmingham (a la above)
West Ham v Wigan (less distance for the BBC to travel and the only clubs left)

You heard it here first.

There is a slight resemblance there, but the guy on on the left, has he eaten every single pie going ?

Jayz Al, you really do need to go on a diet man.

Wigan home will do for me.

One of these days we'll be drawn against the Noses in a competition again. I thought it would be last year so I'll assume it'll be them again this year.

Home tie against the Hommers please.
