I think with Carew pulling out left him with limited options as such, I don't think he wanted to play heskey before the derby and im nt sure if he fancies The Fonz as yet?

Having said that were through and we weren't the only club to struggle through to the nexr round.

Sidwell was terrible though and I hope he's no where near the side come sunday

While I expect us to take time to adjust to a new system of play with the new manager etc, the fact we started with no strikers at home to a Championship side yet to win an away game is going to cause a bit of grumbling. Especially considering we were outplayed a fair bit and the main reason we're in the QF is thanks to Friedel. To be honest, i'd be more worried if there wasn't some (minor) grumbling about that.

This was always going to be a difficult season and MON walking out made it impossible - will settle for a top ten finish and a strong cup run. GH needs time and we are lucky that we can give him some. The time to start judging the team will be in September when he has got his own team out there.
