No suprise and it's refreshing to see that he has performed well under a manager that has given him a chance.

Just what we need, hopefully he'll be given it on a permanent basis and sign a new deal.

If I recall correctly, NRC was immediately given the armband when he broke into MK Dons 1st team as a 19 year old.  He's captaincy material for sure.

Actually what makes a player captain material? What specific tasks are involved in that (I have never played football organized, and some would say never played at all )

Preferably an Influence score of over 15.

Lots of things really, but when I say 'captain material' I'm usually thinking of being the main voice on the pitch giving out encouragement and rollickings as necessary.

He’s the obvious choice and he’s in excellent form.

Just as long as he's not thro' on goal !!

The moved summed him uyp really. In the 93rd minute of the game he still had the energy to close down, win a tackle and charge thirty yards towards goal, only to lack the final quality in the box.

Our midfield needs him mind.
