As much of a knob I now think he is(I think we all loved him when he was here), fair play to him for not gobbing off about Villa.

Fair point, gibbo. However, he is a petulant man, well, I think he is anyway.

Fair play my arse. He will have been handsomely paid to sign a compromise agreement that effectively shuts both sides up.

At least we dont have to listen to him moaning on so let's praise randy for his confidentiality agreement.

Another case of shit journalism.....

Someone (maybe a reporter) at the event hears O'Neils after dinner speach and copies it verbatum.

Not an interview, just someone ripping his speech off.

The content of the article actually reads like a speech so he said what he had pre prepared and wasnt questioned in anyway.

Great journalism, any of us could have done that, Im really pleased that as a tax payer we will have contributed to this journalists education.  Great investment in the public purse.

In the same way as we have heard little from DOL about his departure, you will hear little from MON.
If you wish to interpret this as either or both of them showing a little respect and not slagging off the club or us the fans so be it.
At best its them not wishing to appear belligerant to ex- employers as they seek yet another highly paid post within football.
However, for me what they do and dont say these days is wholly controlled by lawyers. Its a question of confidentiality clauses which will have been put in place with whatever severance pay they will have received.

Your likely to get more information on American war atrocities in Iraq via Wikileaks than anything from this lot, they all have their noses in the football trough protecting their personal wealth and obscene earning power.

Sounds like he's put it all behind him and wants to move on.

We should do the same.

"The less is said the better" more like everyone knows I threw a tantrum after I was told I wasn't going to get money to spend.

Replace spend with waste.

Replace waste with waste on Carlton Cole, Mark Noble and Kevin Nolan. Or any other over-hyped, over-priced English talent...

Good question.

Maybe Randy asked MON and MON didn't know, and MON asked Randy and Randy didn't know.

As neither knew, there was nothing to agree on, and MON left.

Oh how I wish he was still here and we had signed Aiden McGready.

The direction O'Neill wanted to move in was one towards Keane and McGready for £18m.

So glad he's not at our club anymore, sorry MON lovers.
