TV: 'Is there a better left sided player than Gareth Bale in the world at the moment?'

Christ almighty... He's not that good... Not even close.

Oh to laugh at Spurzzz. But we'd all like to be in their position at this moment. Well not the scoreline, but the rest of it.

Even when Spurs have been so utterly found wanting, the commentator comes out with this.

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE

I was slated for calling Bale the best left sided player in the world on here a few months ago.

Fair play to the lad - 3 decent goals.

And you still will be.

He's a good player but the best in the world in his position my arse.

I've just watched a summary on the national BBC news that talked about "a stunning fightback" from spurs.  By the time it finished and the score was...ermm, they lost didn't they?  STUNNING.

Hmm, this thread was a few minutes away from biting everyone on the arse!

If Ashley had performed like Bale did we'd be claiming him the world's greatest winger (he's probably closer to greatest whinger. Still love him though)

To balance things up, haha Spurs you still lost.

Hopefully Spurs will crash and burn at the weekend after this 'supreme effort' and we can take advantage.
