Terry Payne has a good hot dog/burger stall by the side of the Holte pub, I have been going there for years, never had any complaints about food or service.

Thats where we go too - 'never trust a skinny cook' - always buy your burgers from a fat fella.

I think he used to be on the opening credits of ITVs FA cup coverage in his Cov shirt.

A fat man always knows how a good burger should taste. He's the best by far.

I've seen long queues for him when other stands nearby have been empty.

I cant be arsed to find the right thread but I noticed that we have borrowed Fulhams idea of having beer sellers with the beer in their backpacks in the LH, it seemed to make quite a difference to the queues but £3.50 a pint was steep.

That's a fab idea, needed in the Trinity too..........cold bottles of Fosters would be OK.

I had a organic steak burger from the new healthy eating stand in the Lower Holte yesterday. Was very good and cooked fresh rather than the other burgers on the kiosks.

Bit more expensive but much more tasty.

I had a burger from the burger fan under the express way yesterday. Today my arse smells rancid. Won't eat there again.

I had sausage and batter and chips in a chip shop 100m away from Tesco and it is not bad either. I think Villa fish bar is closed now as it had not been open in last two games. (before last game as I didn't went that way)

Chappy's Pizza near Witton station is good and you can buy meal for 3 quids (Mini pizza, drink and french fries)

Someone like Dennis Mortimer should have opened a chippy near the ground - "Mortimers Chippy" would do very well, like "Lou Macari Chip Shop" in Manchester.

When I first started going he only had a small van, he's upgraded a couple of times since. Obviously doing well for himself.
