Had to turn it off after 4 minutes. Far too much of the pig-nosed numpty for my liking.

Why not just fast-forward through to about January and enjoy some of the most consistent few months of the decade?

Crazy to think that we went into the last couple of games in with a shout of the Champions League despite being in the bottom six in December.

Dished out some great hammerings on the road to the likes of Leicester and the Tatters.

Great victory v Chelsea at home too.

We were unlucky to not get into Europe that year.

Where did it all go wrong after that, Herbert pulling up the drawbridge re transfer funds or Pigface just losing interest but not being principled enough to walk away? Probably a combination of the two.

Only three times throughout the 00s decade did a team finishing sixth not qualify automatically for Europe. Each time it was Villa.
