They've now played all of last season's top 4,  plus Liverpool away,  so you cant really say it's due to an easy run of games.  Mind you Liverpool away isnt what it used to be.

Just watched Roberto Di Matteo's interview on the BBC site. He has seriously long and attractive eyelashes. Bastard.

The wheels will come off when oppositon keepers stop gifting them goals like Van Der Sar and Almunia have.

They can't keep being given goals every week. They will come down with thr Christmas decorations at the latest.

Their success may not last the season but they must have some talented players.  Who are they?

Dorrans - acclaimed last season - is generally sub this year so he can't really take any credit.
I saw on the gossip column that Brunt is valued at £9m (by caughtoffside.com)
Odemwingie has been talked up on the Football Weekly podcast.

Is it Di Matteo's shrewd management?

I say good luck to them, although thats easy for me to say as I don't live in the area.

I live in Tividale and work in Rowley, both places full of the tesco bag wearing shits. I really want it all to go tits up for them against us (obviously) but also against the likes of Wigan, Bolton, and Blackpool

I hope its soon

My neighbour suports them and looked at me incredulously when I said that I would give him a tenner if they finish above us.

I dont have any cross to bear against the Albion but fuck me talk about delusions of granduer because they are points in front of us with less than a 1/4 of the season gone

It's nice for them to have their little period of excitement, but I can't believe anyone thinks that it will last.

It's a bit like Christmas. It lasts about a month, it is really fucking irritating, you get tired of hearing about it, it gets more and more irritating, then there's a short, pleasureable interlude, then it is all over, it soon feels like it never happened, and indeed it doesn't happen again for quite a long time.
