Boxing Day, the game after or New Year's Day. When did we last kick off at home at 3pm? I honestly can't remember.

I vaguely remember playing chelsea at 12 but I am not 100% sure it was boxing day

Saw the Spurs game and instantly thought if anything that would be better for me. Then I thought it through and actually it won't be.

As for Dave's question, I'll have a punt on Charlton Athletic, 2-0, 26th Dec 1986.

There was a 3pm kick-off at home a few years ago against Liverpool when we lost 2-1.  I remember Schmeichel gifted them their first goal.

As a result of the Liverpool game now being moved to a Monday night on Sky, we will now lose the game 2-1 after leading for 89 minutes.

The 5:30 ko is the worst of all of the TV kick offs - and to have that on Boxing day is f'in annoying - it eats in to the afternoon and the evening when making family plans.  But then fans making plans with family and public transport (luckily I dont have this problem but feel for those that do) - anyway we are the last thing they worry about when they rearrange these things

12.00 pm would have at least been better than 5.30 pm....its a dreadful time and every football fan I speak to hates that time for K.O

Being a non driver, I have no idea how i'll get to the Boxing day game, regardless of kick off time.

It's long sodding walk from B32 to B6!
Is there no one that does car share in your area Peter? I know its not the point but it would lessen the pain. Yes I agree the boxing day timing is a mare i never want to eat after getting home from those strange kick off times. So the whole family suffers.

Bit annoyed about the Liverpool one as I wanted to take my son this year and now its a school night!  Not bothered about Spurs or Chelsea.
