John Stewart Mill, of his own free will on half a pint of shanty was particularly ill, Plato, they say, could stick it away, 'alf a crate of whiskey every day, Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle, Hobbes was fond of his dram ,And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart, "I drink, therefore I am."

The letters are all there, just not necessarily in the right order.

Joe Mercer was more of a general manager at Man City, Malcolm Allison did all the coaching, tactics and recommended the players to buy. Vic Crowe, Ron Saunders, Tony Barton, Graham Taylor, Ron Atkinson, Brian Little, John Gregory, and Martin O'Neill all did good jobs and Graham Turner, Billy McNeil, Jo Venglos and David O'Leary were all mistakes of Doug Ellis's.

Villa managers

We've had 2 Tommys
2 Jimmys
2 Grahams
2 Rons ( not including caretakers)
2 Joes
2 Georges

Mildly interesting I suppose.

Although much more interesting is the list of West Brom managers from 1975-1988.

Seriously - check it on Google if you don't believe me -  the list reads like this:

Johnny
Ronnie
John
Ron
Ronnie
Ron
Jonny
Nobby
Ron
Ron

Ron Knee was the manager of Neasden FC and was usually ashen faced.

I am sure we have been through all this before.

Da do Ron Ron Ron

foody doody board
I've heard of these.
All the kids are after them this Christmas, bound to be a shortage of them and a few upsets on Christmas morning.

Archimedes was quite a useful player though.  Scored the only goal in the Greek Philosophers V German Philosophers football match as I recall.
