Nice Blackburn win as they over run us in Midfield. Nice to see KMac learning from his mistakes.

This one will depend on how sharp Ireland is. If he, Ash, Stew and Stan can move off the ball properly and into space, then we may be able to keep the ball properly. Harsh on NRC, though, I thought he was one of our two or three best players in the last two matches.

Lucky for us then we're not playing the almighty Blackburn isn't it?

They're playing a 4-2-3-1 there, so if Ash or Stew drops deep we could turn it into three against two in the centre of midfield. Muamba and Holden are very energetic and snappy, but if get the extra man in there we could overrun them.

I'd like to see Ash go back out wide to be honest, especially after that miss on Monday. Also, hasnt Carew got a good record against Bolton? Would prefer to see two up top,but what the f##k do i know!

Doh.

My point still stands. We are more likely to be out muscled in Midfield again. Even with RC in there it has been the case so removing a tenacious tackler and putting in someone who can pass but is not likely to be match fit still and able to track and tackle could be a major issue.

This isn't Allardyce's Bolton. Coyle is trying to change the way they play. I don't think we'll be overrun at all. In fact, I think they'll have a problem with our pace and movement if we can play to our potential. The problem will their physical play up front, but not neccesarily in midfield.

We're gonna get absolutely mullered in midfield. Petrov will peer up and see 3 brick walls charging him, and he won't have the time, the speed, or any hope of doing a damn thing about it. I have an image in my head of Stan splattered across the turf, flat as a pan cake like he's Wile Coyote and has just got run over by a steam roller.

Meep meep!

Not sure who in that line up is going to win the ball back for us.  Still, as long as we never let Bolton have it we could score a few.
