Help needed_Villa Villain Symbol
« on: September 13, 2010, 11:55:45 AM »
Calling on all H&Vers...

I am currently scouring the net, old programmes, etc to try and find a decent quality image of the classic Villa Villain symbol.  I need to get a decent quality image that can be used by the funeral directors for my late father's gravestone.

I'm not 100% sure of the name of this 'mascot' and so far have only been able to find versions that contain too much detail or show the villain in the incorrect pose.  The version I remember is quite a simple outline drawing.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Cheers

Clarrie Blue I thought was correct. My old lady (70) has it spelt like that on here house name/number plate. She got the spelling from her father which takes even further back. No guarantee that it is correct though but our family have spelt it that way for many many years.

I always thought he was a she - Clarrie spelled - ie is a female suffix, but those in the know on here believe differently.
