Haha, our club is such a fucking mess. If it wasn't so funny, it'd be sad.

Bloody hell, what on earth are they doing at VP?  We're doing a good impression of being run by a bunch of clueless numpties at the moment.

How does a shirt being badly made come down to being the club's fault?

The bookies are now taking bets on which will arrive first, the new shirts or Houllier!

Very good.

Come on Dave, its like a butcher not selling meat. You have to accept some things aint right at villa at the mo and the buck stops with the club and owners. Shirts not available until November is a complete joke.

Well of course it isn't as such, but you must agree that this is a bit of a fiasco.
And now the shirt will only be able to be worn for at most six months of the season, and then, no doubt, they'll expect you all to buy another new one next season.

They appointed Nike, and then took ages finding a sponsor.  In a large organization you take responsibility for your actions.  The club is responsible for getting a kit out for sale, and they've failed to so so.  Is anything their fault in your eyes?

When it is, yes. When it's someone else's fault, no. Is anything not their fault in your eyes?

It is not the first or second time that we have had delayed kits in the fours years we have had Nike. And we seem to be the only ones that this seems to happen to.

The trouble is Dave, regardless of whose fault it actually is, the club will get the flak. It will take some good PR to get them coming out of this smelling of anything other than cow pat!
Free lettering won't cut it I don't think.

That being the case, why is it only now that it's the worst thing ever?

Because it is the worst delay ever?

Oh its Nikes fault then, lets move on and accept it. Common theme at Villa at the mo. We better not tell the General were not happy either as he will get the hump. Football home shirts available in November, a complete joke.

Because it is the worst delay ever?

Maybe, but in that case why not aim the abuse at Nike, whose fault it primarily is, rather than the club, whose role is at best secondary?

IT HAS GOT to be a 2 year shirt now.

The continual changing every season is taking the piss...
