Don't understand why Alpay can be considered a Judas.

1 - Milner - Wanker
2 - Barry
3 - Yorke

He only seemed to mention he was a Blues fan when he signed for them. Up until that point he was always coming out with how much of a Villa fan he was. Raiding the pitch against Tranmere my arse!
i liked the little story about him watching small heath win their play off at wembley a few years back to prove he was a small heath fan...

but wasnt it played at the millenium stadium in cardiff?

In the same way as Barry and Platt.  Went away to an international tournament, came back and we weren't good enough for him.

Let's be honest though, he was playing for us when we were at rock bottom, and clubs like Inter and Barca were supposedly interested in him. Who wouldn't leave?

In that case David Platt isn't a Judas either, and Dwight Yorke was quite right to take his opportunity.  Come to think of it we weren't in too clever position when Steve Hodge left.  We may have to rethink this "Judas" idea.

Ah, but leaving us for United is being a Judas to me. Leaving for Barcelona isn't. Then kissing the United badge as well. Wanker, ungrateful ******.

As opposed to kissing the Villa badge then wanting to leave a few weeks later?  Because of "supposed" interest that never actually materialised?

EDIT: According to Wikipedia Barca were interested.  Where did he end up at?

I don't get the Yorke thing,he gave us nearly 10 years service, then moved to the best team in the country and won everything he possibly could. We made a good profit out of him,its a shame JG spunked most of it.

Doesn't matter where he ended up at. When it became public knowledge that he fancied a move then people turned completely against him for good. Add the Beckham scenario and he simply couldn't stay. We all know the English media love a witch hunt.

To be fair a 'Judas' is whatever the person thinks it is. To me just wanting to leave Villa makes you a wanker, judas, c***.

Boateng and Gray have to be the worse culprits, with Gray being King Judas.
