New home Kit -2010/11
« on: September 02, 2010, 02:02:41 PM »
Does anyone like it ?

I know no-one's seen one in the flesh yet, but I quite like it myself - specially the socks.

I know we have a thread on sponsors btw

PS. Haven't seen the away one 'in action' yet have we, Stoke will see it first !

It's shit.

I'll stick to the 08/09 one.

There is one in the club shop window. It sucks. Those chequered bits are rubbish. Wont be buying that.

That kit just topped off season 2010-11 for me. Crap kit, MON leaving, no new players, expensive match day tickets, same 3 finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Wish they would bring back a variation of the 1957 Cup final kit for an away kit and the 92/93 as a home kit.

How about the 1957 FA Cup winning for the home kit and the 1885/6 one for the way kit ?

I always said I wouldn't give in to pressure regarding buying new kits but when my son said how horrible the new Villa shirt is I was quite relieved and also pleased to learn he does have good taste.

It's bloody awful.

I wish the club would produce some proper retro kits, good quality and sell them.

The 81 away is pretty hard to get, and from what I've seen is pretty poor quality. For example.

I like it, especially the socks.  Nice idea about having a 57 shirts for away kit as well - suggest it to the General!

BTW has anyone suggested we keep this kit for 2 seasons seeing as it will only just be in the shops by Xmas (winky thing)?

Hey, we moan these days, but they used to change their kits more often in the olde days - even one in February and another in March 1884 !

'Proper' ?

We have got 'proper' claret and blue, we don't have to bring it back.
